Time to For Mayweather/Pacquiao Fight Is Now

Many experts questioned Manny Pacquiao's training for his
latest fight against Antonio Margarito. They said Pac Man was distracted by
his recent win in the Congressional election in his native Philippines. He
silenced critics on Saturday night, demoralizing Margarito by an unanimous
12-round victory. I The fight was for the WBC super welterweight
championship. It was his eight title in eight different weigh classes. He
moves up each time he goes for a title belt. Magarito was the bigger man and
poised one of the best challenges for Pacquiao. Pacquiao pummeled Margarito,
cutting below his eye and landing a lot of those lightning quick punches.
Floyd Mayweather stated in the past that he wants to fight Pacquiao at the
right moment. It might be soon. Pacquiao took a lot of Margarito's jabs
early in the fight. Margarito also dished out some impressive head shots
while Pacquiao gained his breath. Mayweather would carry an undefeated
record into the bout. The two sides almost came close to a deal, but it fell
apart over blood testing. Mayweather fears Pacquiao. The Filippino is
fearless and will fight any body. The concerns of a public servant weigh on
the fighter now. He has to care about his future after boxing.
Every boxing fan wants to watch Mayweather/Pacquiao. The Filippino is
running out of opponents. It's only logical that the Mayweather/Pacquiao
fight happens. It's too much money to leave on the table for both fighters
to walk away from the fight. Hopefully, both camps will be able to come to
an agreement to see the fight. It would be a shame and a blemish on
Mayweather's perfect record. Fans wouldn't find out which fighter is the
pound-for-pound king.
