Same Story For Heat against Celtics:

It was just another game on the 82-game schedule. The NBA
season is long, players get tired and suffer minor injuries, but the game on
Sunday afternoon was another chapter in a burgeoning rivalry between two of
the Eastern Conference’s best teams. Was it finally going to be the
opportunity for the Miami Heat to establish itself as the best team? Could
the Boston Celtics reclaim the top spot in the East? It turned out how all
the contests between these two teams have come out, with Miami on the losing
end and the Celtics looking like the much better team.
The Celtics downed the Heat, 85-82 after Heat guard Mike Miller missed a
game-tying three point shot. Before that, LeBron James missed the front end
of free throws, making it a three point lead instead of two. It puts the
Celtics record at 3-0 over the Heat this season. The previous two occurred
early in the season, an adjustment period for Miami. This time, the Celtics
relied on the same cast of characters and role players with great impacts.
Paul Pierce had one of his worst performances ever, going 0-10 with one
point. Rajon Rando was tasked with guarding James at points during the game.
Reserve guard Von Wafer and forward Glen Davis were called upon to shoulder
the offensive load during the game. They added 26 bench points. Boston
played without five reserve players, forced to dress 10 players. The Heat
bench underperformed. They accounted for eight points against the Celtics.
Miller only made one of four attempts from beyond the arc, his only shots
taken during the game. Chris Bosh led Miami with 26 points and 10 rebounds.
James added 22 points. This time it was suppose to be different, the new
team defeating the old team. The Heat and Celtics play one last time during
the regular season, April 10 in Miami. It’s presumed these two teams will
meet during the NBA playoffs, meaning it’s going to be a great showcase, but
can the Heat prove themselves against the top NBA competition? We’ll have to
find out.
