Pitches To James, Wade and Bosh Continue:

Go figure, general managers and team officials are upset
with Dwyane Wade, LeBron James and Chris Bosh for meeting to decide a large
portion of the NBA's future. The Toronto Raptors, Bosh's old team is
beginning to rule Bosh out as a member of the team next season. They're
working on a sign and trade to get him the max money but there's only a few
teams they're willing to do it with, including the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Don't get to excited Cavs fans, he wants to play in a bigger market and has
ruled out playing with James in Cleveland. It looks like the three could end
up playing together somewhere, including Miami and Chicago. The Bulls
present the best fit for at least two of the three. Wade wants at least one
more star to play with in Miami to ensure him signing with the Heat. James
is listening to all offers, Bosh wants to win and will wait for James'
decision before signing with a team.
Teams that are waiting to see what James, Wade and Bosh do. Other teams are
making plans not around those three. Paul Pierce resigned with the Boston
Celtics, no real surprise and he should finish as one of the most
individually great Celtic in history. Joe Johnston will probably sign that
max deal with Atlanta unless the Knicks or other big market team makes a
better offer playing with one of the other great free agents. Johnston will
take the money over winning. Dirk Nowitzki will resign with the Dallas
Mavericks. There's an interesting tidbit that the Mavs have a shot at James.
That would be a good pairing for the King. Dirk is an unselfish player that
wants to win and make owner Mark Cuban happy.
James, Wade and Bosh could end up playing together, but it's extremely
doubtful. Teams will continue to make their pitches. James signs and the
other three will most likely make their decisions based on where James
decides to play next year. Executives need to relax, those three players
aren't going to change the future of the NBA. That will go to another
potential lockout after next season.
