NBA Playoffs Semifinals:

So, he is human after all. LeBron James showed up after the fact on Monday night and it resulted a loss for the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Boston Celtics game two victory gives them a tremendous edge heading back to TD Bank Garden for games three and four in the Eastern Conference Semifinals. The game showcased what might have been all season if Rasheed Wallace stepped up and played well along with the Celtics bench. Wallace scored 17 points for the Celtics. A even more impressive performance was Rajon Rando's 19 assists in the game. Ray Allen led all Boston scorers with 22 points.

The Cavs have to be disappointed in the team's performance at home. It's important to win every game, especially at home in the playoffs. The Celtics now hold home court advantage and the Cavs must go into Boston and dominate if they want any chance of winning the series. Game three should be a performance for the ages from Mr. James and his gang.

In the other game from Monday night, Steve Nash scored 33 points and added 10 assists to hold off the San Antonio Spurs in game one of the Western Conference semis. Manu Ginobli scored 27 points for the Spurs. It seemed like old times for the Spurs at points in the game. They've come back in previous game ones against the Suns and defeated Phoenix. The previous two times, they've gone on to win the NBA Title. Nash and his Sun's teammates weren't going to have it this time. Amare Stoudimire added 23 points and 13 rebounds for Phoenix. This series should only get better because of the experience and knowledge these two teams have for each other. They've played a bunch of times in the playoffs in recent years and both clubs are extremely versed in playoff basketball. The series could go seven games.

The series are shaping up to be quality ones. It makes it easier for Orlando and Los Angeles, because they're series shouldn't go as long as these other two series. James will probably step up and win one game for his Cavaliers. San Antonio will play better in game two and Phoenix might get old.
