First Day of Tourney Doesnt Disappoint:

The first day of the NCAA Tournament didn’t disappoint.
There were upsets, buzzer beaters and it turned into one of the best first
full day of games in a long time. Morehead State upset the number five
seeded Louisville Cardinals, 62-61. Demonte Harper hit a three pointer with
4.2 seconds left to down the Cardinals. The Richmond Spiders downed
Vanderbilt in another 12 over 5 contest on the first day.
Louisville, one of the 11 Big East teams in the tournament, losing is the
biggest story of day one. Matt Howard tipped in the winner as Butler beat
Old Dominion at the buzzer, 60-58. It was a broken play but it takes luck to
win in the tournament some times. BYU took care of Wofford. Many experts
picked Wofford for the upset, seeing the Cougar’s slide the last few weeks.
St. John’s lost to Gonzaga in another upset of a Big East team.
Big East teams have the toughest schedule and it looks like their grueling
conference schedule is catching up to some teams. UConn dominated in their
win over Bucknell. Kemba Walker almost recorded a triple-double in the win,
18 points, 12 assists and eight rebounds. He’s a player that can carry a
team to the Final Four and possibly a championship. He’s did a great job
during the Big East tournament and now he’s making a play to be the number
one pick in the NBA Draft.
