AFC EAST Division Teams and Matchups

As we all think that the AFC east is between the New York
Jets and the New England Patriots we seem to forget about the Miami Dolphins
and the Buffalo Bills. As the Buffalo Bills look to rebuild and pick up
young talent to group the future of their team. The Dolphins seem like the
sleeper in this division and are liking the position their in. The Miami
Dolphins are not a team you hear about or see on the front page of ESPN but
they’re making waves already as week 2 has past.
Week 2 of the 2010-2011 NFL season had a great matchup everyone was tuned in
for. The battle that many believe will be a playoff tilt come playoff time.
The New England headed down the Mass Pike onto RT 15 to the New Jersey
Meadow Lands to take on the New York Jets. After a week of trash talk and
internal rumors and commotion with the New England Patriots the scene was
set.
The New England Patriots looked good as they started the drives but the only
flash was the one handed catch by Randy Moss burning Darrell Revis. That
quieted down the Jets fans but not for long Mark Sanchez and company didn’t
look back. After a couple of interceptions giving up by Tom Brady the New
England Patriots didn’t the have answers to stop the Jets.
As this New England and New York Jets game was kicked off another AFC East
team was finishing up their matchup against the Minnesota Vikings. A team
with a 2-0 record sitting all alone at the top of the AFC at the end of Week
2 who are the Miami Dolphin. The Miami defense is starting to look to form
and the offense is starting to work out the bugs. Miami held Minnesota’s
offense to only 10 points and only allowing 20 points on the short season.
The Miami Dolphins win today against the Vikings should so the rest of the
AFC East they’re just as important to get through as the New York Jets and
The New England Patriots.
